In the mid 1920’s, Walt Disney and his brother, Roy, rented a small office building on Kingswell Avenue in Los Angeles, California. It was there that the Disney Brothers Studio was born.
Almost three decades later, animation techniques had reached their zenith in Walt Disney’s classic, “Sleeping Beauty.” Here against these magnificently rendered trees, the birds of the forest glide through the branches as they make their way to the glade where Briar Rose awaits their arrival. These hand-sketched charcoal images are the inspiration for our Kingswell tabletop collection. |
